Ever since I was little, I have always wanted to be an artist. I was always finding opportunities to take art classes and many a sketchbook was filled over the course of my childhood. Eventually, I studied art at Colorado State University and earned my BFA in Drawing and BA in Art Education.
After graduating, I worked as a middle school art teacher (it was awful) and landed a job as the lead artist and social media manager at a local paint and sip studio.
I have been fortunate to have had many opportunities to share my work in the community, galleries, and publications. My illustrations have appeared in OSV Kids magazine and Colleen Pressprich’s books The Jesse Tree for Families, God the Father’s Love: A Journey Through Scripture for Catholic Families and Lenten Prayer for Families.
I have been creating handcrafted watercolor portraits for over a decade. What started out as a way to create meaningful gifts for friends and family has turned into a great opportunity to help others turn favorite memories into works of art. I’m honored to be asked to paint your loved ones.
All of my work is created from the comfort of my home. My little art studio is shared with my beautiful daughters and husband who are also all very creative. When I’m not painting, I love creating monthly Catholic inspired YouTube tutorials, reading, and watching movies/shows.
